Teacher Kerrie Kingston

Teacher Kerrie Kingston
Kerrie Kingston is an outstanding primary educator at Hanover Heights, currently teaching Grade 1. A devoted mother to three amazing children, she brings the same care and dedication to her students and colleagues as she does to her family. Kerrie is known for her kind, compassionate, and caring nature, always putting the needs of others first and ensuring that everyone around her feels supported and valued. She goes above and beyond in every aspect of school life—running the school leadership group, managing the school’s Facebook page, organizing the Santa Claus parade, helping with the Talent Show, and leading a successful literacy night with her class. She also covers the office in the absence of administration, always keeping the whole school in mind. Her commitment extends beyond the classroom, as she supports aspiring educators by hosting co-op students, and even took on the cleanup of the art room. At Christmas, she leads the collection of socks and mittens for the school's mitten tree, further demonstrating her generous spirit. Kerrie's students and their families deeply appreciate her, and all who have the privilege of being in her class are guaranteed a wonderful year. She proudly shares stories of her own children and brings that same pride and joy to her work. Always ready to lend a helping hand, Kerrie is truly a blessing to the school community, and we are incredibly fortunate to work alongside her.
