Teacher Julie Kravchenko

Julie Kravchenko

Julie Kravchenko is a dedicated and much-loved Grade 2/3 teacher at Hanover Heights, known for her quiet, pleasant demeanor and cheerful "good morning" smile. A proud mom to three terrific kids—two sons and a daughter—Julie has a passion for travel, which she has happily passed on to her children, and she enjoys peaceful walks in her downtime. Formerly a Kindergarten teacher, Julie brings a wealth of experience and a calm, cooperative presence to her current role. She is always willing to help when asked, accepts new responsibilities with a gracious “okay, sure, I can try,” and never ruffles feathers. Julie is proudly Ukrainian and an enthusiastic participant in staff social events, always contributing to the positive culture of the school. Professionally, she is eager to grow—taking part in the Writing Revolution book study this year, engaging with new literacy tools like Acadience and Lexia, and working closely with our math coach to bring the best to her students. As an EQAO teacher, she approaches challenges with a smile and isn’t afraid to ask for support when needed. Julie is easy to get along with, thoughtful, and dedicated—someone we’re all happy to work alongside. She even contributed to the school lottery group in hopes of winning big one day—just like the rest of us!
