Heidi Knoll, a beloved Kindergarten teacher at Hanover Heights, brought her wealth of primary experience into her new role in 2023 and has been a powerhouse ever since. A fabulous teaching partner to Kristen Schnurr and proud mom to three amazing young men, Heidi brings creativity, organization, and an unmatched generosity to everything she does. Whether she’s planning Kindergarten Orientation, the Alphabet Parade, or Water Day, running our incredible book fair, or sporting one of her iconic teacher t-shirts, Heidi always goes above and beyond for her students and the entire school. She’s embraced Acadience with enthusiasm, using data to meet students exactly where they’re at. Even on the snowiest of days, Heidi is determined to make it to school—when her car gets stuck in the driveway, her family comes to the rescue, and she still finds a way in, ready to support her students and team. With her sharp mind, kind heart, and “work smarter, not harder” approach, Heidi supports everyone around her—and somehow makes it all look effortless. It’s been said more than once: Heidi will one day run the world, and we’ll all be better for it. She is deeply loved by staff and students alike, and we all feel so lucky to work alongside someone as thoughtful, driven, and refreshingly creative as Heidi.
