A big shout out to Angie Klages, a stellar and dedicated Kindergarten teacher at Hanover Heights who brings heart, experience, and excellence to everything she does. With many years of teaching under her belt and as a long-standing member of our school community, Angie continues to set a shining example. A proud mom of two amazing boys, she brings the same care and high expectations to her classroom, creating an orderly, engaging, and inviting space where every student feels valued and loved. Angie’s love of gardening is passed on to her students through hands-on experiences like planting and caring for gardens, including their visit to the community gardens as part of an experiential learning project. Her classroom rings with joy—often enhanced by her lovely singing voice—and her students light up each day they see her. Angie’s contributions go well beyond the classroom: she organizes Kindergarten Orientation, tracks new registrants, and ensures Math Night activities are age-appropriate and engaging. Her concert presentations are always a highlight, and she plays an active role in Black History Month initiatives. Angie is a true team player, always willing to help where needed, and a perfect teaching partner to Ashley Seeley. Her passion for teaching, high standards, and love for her students shine through in everything she does. We are so fortunate to have Angie as part of our Hanover Heights family.
