Dress Code

Procedures for Dressing Appropriately

School is a place of learning, and students are expected to dress in a manner that reflects respect for themselves and others. The following guidelines apply:

  1. Cleanliness and Neatness
Students must wear clothing that is clean, neat, and presentable at all times.

  2. Prohibited Clothing
Clothing is not permitted if it:

    • Displays profanity or obscene language or images.

    • Contains racial, ethnic, or sexist slurs.

    • Advertises or promotes drugs (e.g., cannabis), alcohol, tobacco, or related products.

    • Reveals undergarments or excessive amounts of the body inappropriately.

  3. Special Occasions
The principal has the authority to determine appropriate dress for special events or occasions.

  4. Final Decision
The principal has the final say on whether an item of clothing is deemed appropriate for the school environment.

By following these procedures, students contribute to a positive, respectful, and distraction-free learning environment.
